He is the founder and first President of Cry Cameroon [USA] and the founder of Harvest Children’s Home [HCH], Cameroon - an orphanage that gives a life saving opportunity for a brighter tomorrow to orphaned and vulnerable children.

Besides his passion for his Lord Jesus Christ, his family and the orphans of Cameroon, Rev Mbong is a charter member of the Cameroon National Baptist Convention [CNBC] and fully committed to the promotion of Christian unity, spiritual wellness, and peace in his native land.

After his retirement in 2014, he moved back to Cameroon, his home of origin for a season and now resides in Detroit to be near family.

Rev Mbong is grateful to Almighty God for the unique privilege of working with the a dedicated Board of Cry Cameroon USA as they diligently provide leadership, oversee all programs and give direction to the ministry. PRAISE THE LORD…!

Vice President and Chairman of The Board

Christi Mollier

Christi Mollier first visited Harvest Children’s Home in March of 2007.  She joined the Cry Cameroon USA board soon after her first visit, and serves as the Vice President, Director of Volunteer Programs and Mission Trips and Chairman of the Board.  She visits HCH as often as possible and is passionate about training the children and staff to be leaders in their community.

Christi lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, John, and two children Sylvester and Stella.  As her husband is from France and her children are adopted from Harvest Children’s Home in Cameroon, theirs is a truly international family that seeks to know Christ deeply and serve him in very practical ways.

The Molliers love to travel and connect with people from all walks of life, especially when it relates to international ministry.

Vice Chairman of the Board

Robert Grossenbacher

Robert Grossenbacher was one of the original founding board members of Cry Cameroon USA.  Robert and his wife Mary have had a special interest in supporting foreign missions and missionaries since the mid 1970s.  They were the first supporters of the ministry of Valentin Mbong, the founder of Cry Cameroon and Harvest Children’s Home.

He was born and raised in San Francisco.  Robert has a BS in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.  Although now retired, he worked as a design engineer most of his career.  Following college, however, he served as an officer in the US Air Force and is a Vietnam veteran.

Robert and Mary have two married children and five grandchildren. He serves as an elder at Pinole Valley Community Church in Pinole Valley, California.

Member at Large

Njoh Amos

Kiki and his wife Elisabeth live in Richmond, CA. He was born and raised in Douala, Cameroon and moved to the United States in 2000. He is a graduate of Cal State University where he earned a Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He is an active member and leader at the French African Church of the New Covenant in Berkeley, CA.

He was instrumental in the creation of Cry Cameroon USA where he and his brothers assisted Uncle Rev. Mbong Valentin Felix to conceive and create a website for Cry Cameroon USA. For years, he has followed with keen interest the evolution of the ministry.

During his many business trips to Africa, he was moved by the abject condition of orphaned and abandoned children who roamed the streets unattended. As a result, he began a ministry providing school supplies, food items, first aid kits and hygienic supplies to needy and orphaned children through local Churches and Orphanages in Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon.

Member at Large

Aden Seidlitz

Aden joined the Cry Cameroon [USA] board in November 2022.  He is on the staff of Anchor Point Church in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, serving as interim associate pastor.   He and his deceased wife, CJ, have supported several children’s ministries throughout their married life and Aden looks forward to serving the children of Harvest Children’s Home in any way he can.

He was born and raised on a family farm near Chester, Montana.  He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech and had a 35+ year career with the Bureau of Land Management, working in several locations around the western U.S..  He retired in April 2019 to be with and care for CJ who suffered from early onset dementia.  She went home to her Lord and Savior in July 2022.

Aden is blessed with a son Joshua (Janice) and two beautiful granddaughters who live in Pennsylvania; son Andrew (Anna) and another granddaughter who live in Idaho; and a daughter Carlea (Lou) who is currently finishing her Art Education degree at the University of New Mexico.
